¿Qué es PREVENT?

PREVENT  es la linea de prevención de enfermedades hereditarias más efectiva de CEIFER BIOBANCO. Supone la integración del Test de Idoneidad Genético (Matching genético) en el proceso de selección de donantes, tanto de ovocitos (Ovopack PREVENT),  de semen (Semen PREVENT) y Embriopack Parejas (Embriopack Parejas PREVENT). Con PREVENT logramos minimizar el riesgo al estudiar más de 300 enfermedades hereditarias, de caracter autosómico recesivo y ligadas al cromosoma X gracias a las últimas técnicas de secuenciación del ADN (NGS) Con PREVENT, y en el mismo acto de solicitud de gametos,  el usuario de este servicio activa el proceso de estudio de idoneidad genética entre receptor/a y donante.

Estudio de Portadores qCarrier Plus Test

Para la realización del Matching genético habrá que realizar un Test de Portadores tanto al donante/a como al receptor/a. El Test de portadores es el qCarrier Plus Test por qGenomics. Se realiza mediante estudio específico (captura y secuenciación directa) de los genes de interés, empleando técnicas de secuenciación masiva (next generation sequencing – NGS).

Se lleva a cabo el estudio de 307 genes de enfermedades  autosómicas recesivas. Entre los 307 genes estudiados se incluyen variantes con incidencia especialmente elevada en la zona mediterránea.

Protocolo de actuación

  • Las peticiones de Prevent se realizarán a CEIFER Biobanco:
    • Por teléfono:

    • Mediante nuestra plataforma de pedidos.

  • Al activar Prevent, CEIFER Biobanco se pondrá en contacto con el centro para definir:
    • Obtención de la muestra biológica (sangre o saliva).
    • Información y suscripción del consentimiento propio de la técnica.
    • Envío de muestra biológica al laboratorio (qGenomics).
  • El centro recibirá los resultados del test de portadores en aproximadamente 20 días.
  • Tras recibir informe de test de portadores, CEIFER Biobanco asignará el donante idóneo genéticamente y enviará los gametos al Centro de Reproducción.
  • Cuando el Centro de Reproducción delega la solicitud en el propio usuario, las peticiones de Prevent se realizarán a CEIFER Biobanco:

  • CEIFER Biobanco se pondrá en contacto con el paciente para definir:
    • Obtención de la muestra biológica (sangre o saliva).
    • Suscripción de documento de consentimiento informado.
    • Envío de la muestra biológica a qGenomics, para su estudio.
    • CEIFER Biobanco recibirá los resultados del test de portadores en aproximadamente 20 días.
    • Tras recibir informe de test de portadores, CEIFER Biobanco asignará el donante idóneo genéticamente y enviará los gametos al Centro de Reproducción que realiza el tratamiento.

El precio  incluye:
