Vitrified Metaphase II OOCYTES  

Through our service OVOTECH we provide assistance for the first thawing of vitrified oocytes at the destination Reproduction Center, made in person and free of charge by qualified personnel of CEIFER BioBanco.

In CEIFER Biobanco we can offer several options to Reproduction Centers for ordering vitrified oocytes.

  • OVOPACK 6: 6 vitrified Metaphase II oocytes.
  • OVOPACK 8: 8 vitrified Metaphase II oocytes.
  • OVOPACK 10: 10 vitrified Metaphase II oocytes.
  • OVOPACK 12: 12  vitrified Metaphase II oocytes.

Protocol

Oocytes are vitrified in CryoTop® method containers. Each container holds two oocytes.

  • OVOPACK 6 – 3 containers (6 oocytes)
  • OVOPACK 8 – 4 containers (8 oocytes)
  • OVOPACK 10 – 5 containers (10 oocytes)
  • OVOPACK 12 – 6 containers (12 oocytes)

We use CryoTop® method, highly effective for oocytes and embryos cryopreservation providing:

  • EU label
  • Excelent survival rate for oocytes.
  • Fertilization
  • Pregnancy
 

We use Kitazato vitrification medium.

  • EU label
  • Ensures traceability of the process
  • Ensures sterility of our vitrification process

We only use approved certified containers (MVE CHART).

  • Liquid nitrogen travels absorbed into porous material.
  • Transportation containers are shipped conveniently protected inside security packaging specifically designed for CEIFER Biobanco.
  • Our security packaging implements anti-tampering system.
